Right — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d say something since a mate asked me last week. I’m in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an each way payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. Now type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I use most — type in the price and your stake and you get the return straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it lives at what is a treble bet — free, no signup.

One thing that genuinely shifted things for me was the more serious tools. There’s an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout is a bit basic — no flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone even now does the maths on paper, try it — saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.

So — been using this thing for about six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am UK based, generally do football and horses, small stakes, for context.

How I found it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never work out what an ew payout actually came to once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d guess and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — type in the price and your stake and it shows returns with no faffing, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, and that’s where I’d always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s over at dutching bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that genuinely made a difference is the nerdier tools. The probability thing which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. The layout feels a bit basic — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who even now does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
