Right — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me last week. I’m in the UK, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.
The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could work out what an e/w return would be when the place terms changed. I’d just guess and then be surprised. Now type the odds in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where I always lose track. If you want a look, it’s here ladbrokes bet calculator lucky 15 — free, no signup.
One thing that actually shifted things for me were the geekier bits. The probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m splitting a race.
Not all sunshine though. Its interface is very functional, let’s say — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.
Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you still works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

返信OK — been on this thing for something like six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, mainly bet football and racing, small stakes, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I could never work out what an e/w return actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.
The single bet calculator tool is the bit I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and you get returns instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, and that’s where most people I know mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s over at yankee betting and it’s free with no account nonsense.
What really changed how I bet was the more serious bits. They’ve got an implied probability thing and it makes obvious the overround, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is handy too for when I’m splitting a race.
Couple of gripes. The design looks a bit basic — zero flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no app, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.
So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.
